IK Multimedia iRig Mic Lavalier Mic for Smartphone, Tablets, Computers & More (TRRS)

Run-and-Gun Filmmaking, EFP, and social media content creation is much easier with the iRig Mic Lavalier Mic, a lapel mic for smartphones, tablets, computers, or any other compatible device with a TRRS connection. Simply clip the mic to your person with the included clip, plug the mic into your device, and you're ready to imbue your content with high-quality audio. Since the mic will work with any app that accepts audio from your device's input jack, you can use the lapel mic in a variety of production or personal applications.

With its omnidirectional polar pattern, the iRig is quite forgiving, picking up sound from all around the mic; even if you turn away from the capsule a little, you'll still be heard clearly. The mic's cable offers an extra bonus: a dedicated switch that allows you to connect your headphones for monitoring the recording in progress, or a second iRig Mic Lav for recording two people at once, making 2-way live interviews much simpler.

Handy Accessories Included

The iRig comes with a foam pop filter to eliminate vocal plosives, wind noises, and other unwanted sounds. And, like all good lavalier microphones, it comes with a durable mounting clip that you can easy mount on a t-shirt, lapel, or other material for hands-free recording. Effortless Monitoring

Capturing great audio in the field requires more than just superior microphone technology. To get the best sound, you have to be able to monitor your source as its being recorded. Not all lavalier microphones come with on-board monitoring, but the iRig does. The mic comes with a combo 3.5mm TRRS port that can be used to output audio to your favorite pair of headphones. Just set the toggle switch next to the port to "monitor" and plug in your headphones, and you'll be on your way to recording effortlessly amazing audio.

Record 2 Mics if Need Be

iRig Mic Lav lets you chain and record with up to two iRig Mic Lavs on the same device thanks to the same dual-purpose 3.5mm TRRS port used for headphone monitoring.

Simply set the toggle switch to Input, and then plug a second iRig Mic Lav in to record with two microphones. To monitor a dual iRig Mic Lav setup, you just need to set the switch on the second iRig Mic Lav's jack to Monitor, and then plug in your headphones.

You get iRig Recorder FREE for iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch and Android, a straightforward audio capture app that is great for everything from recording journalistic interviews to making podcasts while on the go (and everything in between).

IK Multimedia iKlip Grip Pro

The iKlip Grip Pro from IK Multimedia is a multi-functional stand for smartphones equipped with a 3.5 to 6" display size. The iKlip Grip Pro sports a large, ergonomic handle as well as a locking 4-segment telescopic extension pole that can extend up to 24" long to take selfies. For hands-free video chats, you can unfold the handle into a tripod, allowing you to place the iKlip Grip Pro on a table. To capture difficult shots, it can function as a monopod for nighttime use, and there's also a detachable Bluetooth shutter control for remote shooting. In addition to supporting smartphones, the iKlip Grip Pro is compatible with action cameras, handheld audio recorder devices, and cameras featuring a UNC 1/4"-20 screw thread.
